" It is called subconscious, because it is at such a deep layer. That even if you are very aware and very conscious, you still don't have direct access to it. It is the same way where we are sitting and being very conscious. What is happening on another layer, our bodies right now are in exchange with the air inside of this room. What type of air is in this room? What type of roof, paint, what type of incense sticks were lighted up inside this room? We can find their "flavor" inside the curtains. There are many things happening on a layer that we don't have influence on, even if we are conscious about it. We can be conscious about it, but we don't have influence. In the same way, this is what also relates to concept of Karma: cause and effect. You can have effect on everything you consciously do. But everything that unconsciously came into your life, this of course has an effect on what you're capable of achieving or where your path is leading to. What helps is the realization, to be aware and be more conscious with how you behave. There are things going on every second, every minute, that we have no influence on, but have high impact on us since we were born."

A model of how we grow up. Our development is a continuous cyclical process, as opposed to a linear one. Once we become an adult at age eighteen, we begin to cycle through this spiral development again and continue re-visiting through the rest of our lives. The "recycling" stage is not viewed as a going round and round in circles process, but rather the spiral development metaphor moves upward powered by the energies of life as we are all forced to continue emerging or developing.
It is referred to as "Life Force Physis" (Eric Berne).
We have a chance and a choice to change our emotions that are getting in the way of living. As we get past our own limitations that were automatically processed in our lives, we get to know ourselves better by sorting through our inner voices. We can change our lives in a very profound way by eliminating emotions that are negative based.
The Conscious, Subconscious and Unconscious Mind.
Our subconscious mind controls primarily 95% of who we are and is like a computer processor, while our conscious mind controls only 5% of who we are.
Neuroscience has shown that our life is a replay of past emotions or experiences programmed in our subconscious mind.
Our everyday life is influenced by the repeats and residuals of previous beliefs and behaviors.
Subconscious mind reprogramming is the secret behind supreme success!
I was aware of doing or saying things subconsciously, but I wasn't aware of what was deeply going on within me and that it was even possible to reprogram the subconscious mind. There are so many different levels and aspects of the mind at work!
My biggest question was: What's the difference between them all? What did all of this mean?
Our brain works like a computer (operating systems, hardware, software, data bugs, etc.).
By translating into systematical terms and with my analytical background, it helped put this into perspective.
The Analytical mind can do a situational analysis to sort through information and evaluate the datasets of life.
The Unconscious mind is where we bury our automatic behaviors and repressed traumatic experiences that we don't remember at all.
The Conscious mind our current awareness, logic, rational thinking, feelings, our thoughts and wishes.
The Subconscious mind is our habit mind and is often resistant to change but is in the present and can be easily triggered. It is also where our true beliefs, desires, values, intuition, life's passion, and creativity lie and where we break human barriers. It doesn't know the difference between reality and imagination. Researchers show that our subconscious mind stores information from our childhood as there were no previous beliefs yet established for us to dispute and accept these emotions and events to be the truth. The subconscious mind does not know the difference between imagination and reality. However, this can bring problems in our adulthood.
Our subconscious mind controls 95% of who we are; studies show that humans have 60,000-90,000 thoughts per day! And about 70-80% of these thoughts are the same thoughts we repeat from yesterday and will repeat the next day. Old habits die hard, they say, and that tends to happen with how the subconscious mind becomes programmed (taught or trained) by every emotion and experience we've encountered throughout life. It is our belief system buried deep within our being. Our subconscious mind is where we store "data" of life's experiences; it is limitless and also timeless. The negative emotions buried in our subconscious mind can go as far back as 10, 20, or 30+ years and often feel like they just happened; We could remember it like yesterday.
These moments get stored in our "data bank," the operating system of our subconscious mind, and has 95% control over our lives.
The glitches of these old "data points" in the subconscious timeline become a "pesky bug" in the system or what I refer to as "trigger points."
To remove bugs, we trace the cause of the error and reprogram it to prevent new bugs. A bug is an error or defect in a computer program. Bugs generate unexpected reactions or cause a system to behave in a way it wasn't designed or developed to do.
Our subconscious mind works the same way; we transform our mind with a purpose from the conscious mind. Therefore, we can live life with more equanimity feeling more joyful, happy, clarity and prosperity! A powerful and life-changing process!

If who we are is 95% of our subconscious mind, then who are we? Who are we living as? What are our day-to-day thoughts? Are we spending much time worrying and doubting life from a perception of pessimism or living in optimism?

I know it seems more challenging than it sounds, but we can build strength from the stress around us. The questions I learned to ask during stressful situations are: "What am I to learn, and what strength am I to gain?"
